KC21 Kayak...

KC21 Kayak was established in 2005 to give disadvantaged young people opportunities to build their self-confidence through teaching them kayaking skills. Our courses also provide a great opportunity for leaders to build stronger relationships with their group. Ultimately, we have a lot of fun on (and in) the water!

We give priority to leaders working with non-church youth groups, and look to fill dates with other groups from within KC21. Our season is quite short, as we run only courses during the summer months (June – August), to ensure that participants do not get cold. We are based at the Basingstoke Canal Centre in Mytchett, Surrey (GU16 6DD) and run our sessions on the Basingstoke Canal. Each course is run for a maximum of eight young people and two leaders. Every participant is provided with full safety equipment to ensure that they all have a fun, but safe, time on and off the water.

If you are currently involved with a group of young (or not-so-young) people who would benefit from a KC21 Kayak course, then please EMAIL Harvey or Jules Wade for further details.

The KC21 Kayak team are all First Aid and Safety qualified and the team members are:
