Vision and Values
Our vision is ‘to be a network of churches which are resource of gifts and ministries to the region, the nation and the nations of the world.’
The resource of the churches is the people that are in them and our vision for each person who is part of KC21 is for them to be ‘Complete in Christ’ that as they fulfil their unique role as part of the body of Christ.
Our values are:
The Kingdom of God - the kingdom of God is the place where righteousness, peace and joy are in evidence. This comes through following Jesus, being obedient to his words and living out his example.
Community – Jesus came to create community, to break down walls of enmity and prejudice and to cause people to truly know the love of God in their lives and in their relationships. We see the church as a community of believers who truly love one another and are reaching out to the community around them.
Spirit – Jesus gift to his disciples and the church is the Holy Spirit. In our lives, in our meeting together, in our worship, in our structures we seek the dynamic of the Holy Spirit and allow his freedom to work.
Faith – faith is the God given ability we have to connect with God and to receive the things that God has for us. It is only through faith that we can please God. Faith is a gift and a grace (annual report)
Word – the word of God (the bible) is one of those ways in which God speak to his church. The bible is a guide to our way of living and for moral values.
